Flat and fast, PB potential

Darlington Harriers & AC, supported by the town’s Start Fitness, are hosting this multi lap event for those runners who are looking to run a fast 10 mile race, prepare for an Autumn full or half marathon. Using predominantly the same course as the parkrun, although removing the infamous ‘Squirrel Hill’ and starting outside the tropical bird cage…well it has a parrot. Runners will head out past the children’s play area before taking a sharp left down a slight incline before taking another left all the way down to the bandstand. Runners will go around the outskirts of the bandstand and past the bird lake on the runners right hand side until they are adjacent to the river Skerne before turning left one last time back to the starting point. Runners will receive a goodie bag and medal.
