Workington Festival of Running

Welcome to the online entry for the Workington Festival Of Running featuring 1k (free kids run), 5k and 10k races. Race numbers & race day information Race numbers will be issued at race registration. Entries on the day will be available subject to maximum entry of 150 runners in each of the races. Registration will be at the Leisure Centre. Opens at 11:00am for all races. Entries on the day will not be taken after 12:15pm. Prices 1K fun run – FREE (optional fancy dress) - Start time 12.00 5K - £6 (£4 for UKA affiliated runners) (150 total runners) - Start time 12.30 10K - £10 (£8 for UKA affiliated runners) (150 total runners) - Start time 13.30 Adults accompanying a child do not need to enter the 1K or run with a number, unless a medal is specifically required. This will provide more capacity for children to take part in the run. A £2 discount is provided to runners entering both the 5K and 10K races online. (£14 or £10 for UKA affiliated runners.). Additional £2 charged for 5K and 10K entries on the day. Prize giving will take place outside of the Leisure Centre. More details will be provided on the day. Race safety briefing There will be a race briefing prior to the start of each race. 1st aid provision will be provided by Stephen Wilson.. There will be a lead bike and sweeper runner on all races. Withdrawals Policy Withdrawals and number swaps will be allowed up until Saturday 6 August 2022. Refunds may be subject to a charge to cover costs of processing the entry and refund. After this date no refunds or change of runner can be guaranteed. Results will be online at www.timingupnorthresults.co.uk
