A fun run for children... in the dark!
Welcome to Dash in the Dark! Let's get outside and have fun in the dark. Dash in the Dark is a fun run exclusively for children aged 4-11 years with all the proceeds going to childrens charity, The NSPCC. The emphasis of the run is FUN! A single lap is 400m and the children will have 45 minutes to run as many laps as they can enjoy. Running four laps would be a mile but equally children are welcome to complete one lap and finish. We have exclusive use of the park, think glow sticks and fairy lights! All entrants will be given a glow stick for the run. All finishers will receive a special glow-in-the-dark medal. I hope to provide some on-site catering and will update here and the Facebook event page as any details are confirmed. As the event is outside and scheduled for December the weather will be a consideration. Thankfully the route is fairly shielded by trees. Do please keep an eye on your email and/or Facebook for updates. Any extra safety considerations will communicated these ways. QUESTIONS??? We will have exclusive use of the car park within the park, however it will quickly fill up so please do bear this in mind. You may have to find alternative on-street parking nearby.
