PECO XC Junior Race League
The most popular cross country league in West Yorkshire
The PECO Junior Cross Country League is a series of 5 cross country races organised in and around Leeds alongside the Senior Race League. Each junior race is 1-2 miles and is chip timed. Those aged under 11 on 1 September 2022 (i.e. usually school years 2 to 6) run approximately 1 mile at 10:00 and those aged 11 or over on 1 September 2022 but under 17 (i.e. usually school years 7 to 11) run approximately 2 miles at 10:20. The simplest way to enter is to buy a ticket online in advance for just £5. This provides entry to both remaining races. Once registered and paid for, you will not need to register again. You will collect your race number at the next race and then you just turn up at the final race with your number and run. Alternatively you can enter each race on the day. The cost to enter each race individually on the day is £4. SEASON TICKETS CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED ONLINE; they cannot be bought on the day. You can still enter the Junior Races if you're not a paid member of a running club, as long as you include the name of the running club with which you are associated. All entrants will be allocated a race number (with an embedded timing chip) which they must keep for the whole season. Replacements for lost or damaged numbers can be purchased at Race HQ for £2.50 for juniors.
