FunRunForJo 2018 at Oakwell Hall and Country Park
As a legacy to the work of Jo Cox MP and to celebrate Jo’s belief that ‘far more unites us than divides us’ we are holding 2 runs around Oakwell Hall and Country Park. The event builds on the success of last year’s RunForJo. This year, the first run will start at 9:30 am and is a 2.5km family fun run and the second at 11:00 am is a 6.5km cross country challenge. There will be music and surprises on the route, and a party at the finish line. Food stalls, bar and a Mascots' Race. Don't worry about missing the England football match, we have plans to ensure you can watch every minute. We are delighted to be supported again by our friends at Racebest, so come and join us to run, have fun and celebrate all we have in common! All proceeds go to the Jo Cox Foundation to continue work on local projects.
