Beck Busters 2K Fun Run 2024

A 2km Fun Run for ages 3 to under 15

The BeckBusters Fun Run is a chip timed event which is now in its 7th year, which takes place prior to the 10km race. This race covers a distance of approximately 2km and starts and finishes at Bishop Monkton Primary School. The run begins on quiet country road before heading down a farm track prior to returning to school with a (optional) splash through the Beck. Please note that Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult (no need for adult to pay or enter). All Fun Run finishers will receive a participation medal. Prizes are awarded to overall and age category winners. Entrants and their supporters can enjoy a variety of refreshments including our delicious freshly cooked bacon sandwiches and our homemade cakes, at Bishop Monkton Primary School before, during or after the race. This event is organised by the Friends of Bishop Monkton Primary School (Registered Charity 1050824). All monies raised will be used to provide equipment and help towards improvements to the school.
