Saddle up for THE race of the summer on 24th August! With Rodeo bull, medieval stocks, LAPD Law Enforcement officers & REAL LAPD car, music, pizza, BBQ, ice-cream, beer, prosecco and much, much more, it's the rootin'est tootin'est family event of the summer! Run For It is pleased to announce the launch of Sheffield’s one-and-only Beer Bonanza 5K, 10K and Half Marathon! Featuring some of our local favourites, and a few exotic choices to boot, there really is a beer for everyone at our Beer Bonanza. Located on the Sheffield canal towpath, a scenic route on a mildly undulating, PB potential course lies in wait. Running poses many trials and tribulations – your biggest problem here may be making it to the finish line sober! That’s right, we’ll be hosting a different local brewery at EVERY kilometre, allowing you to sample their goods on the route, before joining us on the finish line for the final shoot-out with FREE beer, prosecco and cake for all finishers. Every runner will receive free beer, cake and a custom bespoke medal! Your entry will also come with the added optional extra of an official Run For It Beer Bonanza T-shirt – you can never have too many running vests! Fancy dress is (as always) encouraged, and we impose no time restrictions – the race is open to everybody from every background. Cowboys, cowgals, braves and squaws of all ages are welcome on this traffic-free, family-friendly and wheelchair-friendly route for the race at 11am 24th August. If you have any younger runners in your posse – don’t worry; there will be a range of soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers available for the youngsters, we only ask you leave a note when registering if you’re signing up anybody under the age of 18.
