A new 6 hour challenge event in York

Introducing See York Run York's newest race, the Turpin Challenge. It is a 6 hour challenge around an approximate 4.37 mile loop (it may be very slightly over). Run as few or as many loops as you wish within the 6 hours. You can run one loop, 3 loops for a half marathon, 6 loops for a marathon or just keep going until the time is up and see how far you can go within the time limit. No matter how many laps you run, all runners will receive the same bespoke medal and a goody bag. The race is named after Dick Turpin, the infamous highway man. The route goes straight by Tyburn, the alleged place of Turpin's execution! The event is chip timed. There will be cake and savoury snacks at the finish (or feel free to snack between laps). The event is supported by The York Dungeons who will be providing all runners and their guests with discounted entry into the Dungeons at £5.95 per person. Dick Turpin will also be along to support the runners!
