Run or walk this beautiful trail
The Race2Remember is an 8km marshalled trail race for runners and walkers of all abilities on Sunday 9th October around the scenic environs of Nicky Nook in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, Lancashire. The event is a dedication to dementia awareness and includes a 2km Fun Run, Junior Race (U16s) and a toddler and U7s event. All proceeds go to Defying Dementia. 'Defying Dementia is a community-supported campaign, based at Lancaster University, designed to change the world that we live in and make a real difference to people's lives, by tackling the big threat that is presented by brain diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and Motor Neurone Disease.' The Junior Race and Kids Race start at 11:30. The Main Race starts at 12:00 and the Walk at 12:05
