Muddy Boots 10K 2023
An undulating multi-terrain course of approx. 10k through picturesque countryside, including road, footpaths and trails
Muddy Boots is a chip timed event which is a well-established feature of the local running calendar selling 500 entries each year. The race covers an approximate distance of 10 kilometres which starts and finishes at St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School, Ripon. It is a multi-terrain course over undulating farmland and through picturesque countryside incorporating a mixture of road, footpaths and trails. All participants will receive a 'goody bag' on finishing the race. The option to add a technical t-shirt memento to your race entry has now closed. There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall, 1st in age category, 1st male and 1st female school parent, and fastest team (first 3 men and first 3 women affiliated to the same club). Entrants and their supporters can enjoy a variety of refreshments, including our hugely popular homemade cakes, at Race HQ before, during and after the race. The event is organised by the St Wilfrid's Association (SWA/PTA. Registered Charity No: 1057684) with all monies raised being used to offer children who attend the school a full range of activities, including extra-curricular opportunities, and helps towards improvements and refurbishments to the school.
