Swimming, scenery and smiles!

A pool based swim followed by a scenic run along the footpaths adjoining the beautiful River Swale for everyone aged 8 upwards. Goody bags/mementos for all junior finishers from Tristart to Tristar 3. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all Tristar groups. Races of varying distance depending on age as follows, ages on 31st December 2024:Tristart, age 8, swim 50m run 600m, Tristar 1, age 9/10, swim 150m,run 1.5k; Tristar 2, age 11/12, swim 250m, run 2k; Tristar 3, age 13/14, swim 400m, run 3k; Youth and adult age 15 upwards, swim 500m, run 4k,

To take part in the Yorkshire Junior Series, participants need to be members of British Triathlon (BTF), details can be found here : https://www.britishtriathlon.org/yorkshire/take-part/junior-series 3/ For entrants over 12, the entry form asks which race category you are entering: Female category or Open category. BTF rules state that only people who are female sex at birth are eligible to compete in the Female category. All other individuals including transgender people are eligible to compete in the Open category. This question is required under the British Triathlon Transgender Policy effective 1 January 2023.
