A Fun Run for all to Raise Funds for the Community Library

After a successful first year, Walton Community Library is excited to be putting on its second fundraising run for the entire family. Taking part at the beautiful Walton Colliery Nature Reserve, runners and walkers (with or without dogs) can enjoy a scenic route while either chasing a new PB or just wanting a leisurely stroll. There's even a 1/4 mile fun run for the kiddos! All (human) participants will receive a Zero-Waste Wooden Medal to commemorate their participation in this event, all while raising funds for a worthwhile cause. 5K Canine Race start time is 0900 5K Race start time is 0930 Children's Fun Run Starts at 1030 Entry on the day is available starting at 0730. Cash only, please! *Please note - the children's 1/4 mile Fun Run has a minimum age of 2 and a maximum age of 10. As it is a short, straight course, guardians do not have to do the run with their children but must be present at all times.

Crofton Juniors Football Club will be selling refreshments in the race headquarters (The Sidings) No parking on the road to the course, please. Medal and goodie bag for all finishers. Parking will be available nearby at The Sidings (right across from the start line). Please do not park on the main road to the course. It's a few minutes walk to your car from the finish (you will be shown the way). Always great to car share though!
