5k and 10k night run with virtual option
The Winter Solstice Strider rescheduled to Wednesday 29th January from its original date of 21 December is brought to you by the team behind the Summer Solstice Saunter at Bolton Abbey and sponsored by Warters and Co. Chartered accountants and the Yorkshire Clinic. If you already signed up and can't mak ethe new date email either defer or virtual to andrew.wood@sueryder.org. The venue is the St. Ives Estate at Bingley and, it's in the dark!. Runners are welcome to complete either one or two circuits (5k) or (10k), walkers just one circuit (5k). Every participant is chip timed but whether you run, jog or saunter, everyone will receive our unique bespoke Solstice Saunter medal. The event is supported by STRI and the Bingley St. Ives Golf Club. There is a 6-17 year old entry price for accompanied 5k runners/walkers. For those who collect our solstice medals but can't attend in person there is a virtual option where you can run a 5k or 10k at a location of your choice on the shortest day and you will receive your medal in advance of the day.
