This event will run throughout the lockdown period - 5th Nov to 2nd Dec. This challenge is all about elevation. No, we’re not asking you to run / walk the Yorkshire 3 peaks, but by the end of the challenge you will have run / walked the same elevation as one, two or all 3 of the Yorkshire 3 peaks!! So how does it work? When you enter, you can pick the amount of elevation you want to cover during the lockdown period, then, on each run / walk make a note of the elevation you have covered and add it all up. (All upto date apps record elevation of each run / walk, eg. Strava, Garmin, Map my run, etc.) So you know what that means? You need to smash those hills 💪 The elevation of each peak is: Pen-y-Ghent 2276 feet Whernside 2414 feet Ingleborough 2372 feet So to complete one peak, you’ll cover 2276 feet, to complete 2 peaks, you’ll cover 4690 feet and to complete all 3 peaks, you’ll cover 7062 feet 🏔🏔🏔 The charity we are supporting for this event is “It’s worth talking about.” A local mental health charity who meet at various times in Bingley and Keighley to support those people struggling with their mental health. A very important charity during these tough times. Of course, you’ll get a wonderful medal at the end of the challenge. At the end of the challenge, you can submit your evidence via email, via the event page of via Trail Snails Facebook messenger or Twitter.
