The village race with something for everyone...
2015 marks the 30th year of the Hildenborough Road Races, held annually on the first bank holiday Monday in May in this picturesque Kent village. There are races to suit all abilities: 10 mile, 5 mile, 2.5 mile on road and a 1 mile off-road race. The 10 and 5 mile races consist of a circular road route that leads away and back to the village, the 10 mile race is two loops of the 5 mile course. The two shorter distance races are a 2.5 mile road race for those aged 12 and over (families are encouraged to run together), and a 1 mile off-road race for those aged 11 and under. The 2.5 mile race starts alongside the longer 10 and 5 mile races at 2.30pm. The 1 mile races are run on grass around the recreation ground and start from 1.30pm.
