North Pennines Running Workshop
An NEP running workshop in the beautiful North Pennines.
We welcome you to our September Running Workshop situated in the picturesque village of Dufton in the North Pennines. Previous workshops have been incredibly successful and have provided a unique experience for runners of all abilities to learn from two elite athletes and train with a supportive community. Both days will contain similar but different elements of training: Meeting point: Dufton public car park, Dufton, Appleby-in-Westmorland CA16 6DB from 10am starting at 10:30am. Specific activities on both days of the workshop: 1. A hill session on the challenging Dufton Pike 🏔 2. A lesson on Lydiard principles of hill running and bounding for endurance running success. 3. Lunch in the centre of Dufton. 4. A hike up to High Cup Nick in the afternoon. Level of running experience needed: Beginner to elite. NEP training is fully inclusive. Clothing/equipment: 1. Trail shoes or road trainers with good grip. 2. Waterproof clothing and a small backpack to run/hike with. 3. Food and snacks. 4. At least 1 litre of water. Costs: £15 for one day. £20 for both.
