Leeds' most popular 10 mile road race!

The Hollybank Eccup 10 is back this year in collaboration with with our charitable partner, The Hollybank Trust. The race takes place on closed roads following a scenic route through the country lanes around Eccup reservoir making this Leeds most popular 10 mile road race. Abbey Runners will be making a donation to both Hollybank Trust and the club's nominated 2025 charity, the Leeds based St Vincents Centre, from the race proceeds and you can also support either or both by making an additional donation with your entry. When you enter, you can also choose whether to purchase a high quality technical T-Shirt as a memento or have a tree planted on your behalf for an additional £6. Last year we raised over £5000 for our charities and £800 to plant trees around Leeds. We have a generous prize policy, with prizes for both men and women for the first 3 overall, V35 and V40. The first two V45,V50 and V55, and the first V60, V65, V70 and V75 ect. We also have a team prize (first 3 club members) for both male and female teams. There is also £100 on offer for breaking either the men or womens course records: The men’s record is held by Yared Hagos, 51.18, (Bradford Airedale), set in 2011 The women’s record is held by Tracey Morris, 56.26, (Valley Striders), set in 2007 We will also have a number of spot prizes from our sponsors, these will be given out at random throughout the day. When all places are sold or if it is less than 4 weeks to race day, your race entry fee will not be refundable in any circumstances. While places are still available and it is still more than 4 weeks until race day, you may apply in writing for a refund, which will be subject to a refund processing charge. Race place transfers are permitted (free of charge) if made by the entrant using the link contained in the confirmation email up to 10 days before race day. Anyone found to be running in someone else's name, will be disqualified and their details will be passed to UK Athletics.
