Run Bolton Abbey 2022
Run Bolton Abbey, Half Marathon, 10 mile, 10K or 2.4 mile family fun run
Run Bolton Abbey is a popular trail running event where hundreds of runners take part in various distances in the stunning scenery of Bolton Abbey Estate, raising much-needed funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. There is a choice of distances to suit all abilities of runners. A 10k, 10 Mile, a half marathon and a 2.3 mile fun run. After listening to feedback, the routes have been revised for 2022, all now run around the Abbey and the 10k is considerably easier. This is a unique opportunity to run on parts of the estate not usually accessible to the public and we guarantee the autumnal colours will be stunning! The races will start in waves just after 9am, and at the start finish area we will observe a one minute silence for Remembrance Day at 11am. This year rather than presenting a medal to all finishers we will be planting a tree in the Bolton Abbey Estate for every participant that crosses the finish line.
