The Friendly Village Relay for Casual Runners to Club Runners!

Following 4 successful years we’re pleased to announce the 2022 Event! Organised by Sporting Club Inkberrow ~ Sponsored by Hills Ford Race starts at 10:00am on Sunday May 22nd (registration from 8:30am) ENTRY FEE: £24 PER TEAM (NO ENTRY AVAILABLE ON THE DAY) The race has proven to be popular with club runners, casual runners, joggers, plodders and shufflers alike over its 1st 4 years! It starts and finishes at Inkberrow Sports Pavilion, WR7 4HJ, where a bar and food is available for both runners and their supporters. The race is on quiet country lanes and is undulating but fast. A map of the course can be found below. The nature of the event requires a team of 4 to each complete one leg of the 3 mile course. Teams of less than 4 can enter with runners running more than one leg. The great location, facilities and family friendly atmosphere make it ideal for supporters to cheer on their team at each ‘runner changeover’ and enjoy post-race picnics and celebrations after the event. The minimum age for entry to the relay race is 11. There will be trophies for first male, first female and first mixed team of two males and two females. There will also be trophies for junior teams (11 to 16), the first team of runners who live in Inkberrow, the highest placed club runners team and the highest place non club runners team. (Under ARC rules Permit Number ARC22/152) *Covid precautions mean that the registration of runners to legs cannot take place on race day this year. Team managers will receive instructions on how to do this prior to race day.* There will be a 1 mile fun run for children under 11, registration on the day, fee £2 per child.
