Wetherby 10K 2025
Wetherby 10k - It's a Cracking little Yorkshire run
Welcome to the Wetherby 10k – a cracking little Yorkshire run! Organised by Wetherby Runners AC, 2025 marks the 20th year of our much-loved race. With a fast, flat, and scenic route, the Wetherby 10k is perfect for runners of all abilities. Whether you're chasing a new PB, taking part in a club championship, tackling your first 10k, or simply enjoying a great day out, this race is for you. We’re proud to be an inclusive event: there’s no cut-off time and we have a tail runner to ensure no one is left behind. Along the course, you’ll find friendly marshals, a halfway water stop, and professional chip timing provided by Racebest—everything you need for an enjoyable race experience. Race HQ is at Wetherby Racecourse, making it easy to get to with plenty of on-site parking. There are portaloo toilets (stocked with sanitary products), excellent medical cover from Julian Hall Medics, and our famous charity cake stall serving hot and cold drinks—perfect for a pre-race treat or for your supporters while you run. In 2025, we're proud to support Active Against Cancer, a fantastic charity run by Harrogate and District NHS Trust. It’s a cause close to one of our members’ hearts, and proceeds from race entries and cake sales will contribute to our end-of-year donation. We’re proud to say the Wetherby 10k is Gold-Graded by the British Association of Road Races and was the BARR National Winner of the Bill Reynolds Memorial Trophy in 2014. And don’t forget the Mini-Marathon—a fun 1.6-mile run (entry on the day only, no minimum age) starting at 12:30pm. It's a great way to get the whole family involved and makes for a brilliant afternoon out. We hope to see you at the start line!
