Entry Includes option to enter the 2021 GPX Grand Prix This race is Race 1 of the Great Owl Running GPX Grand Prix Red League (info soon) Great Owl running presents Kirkstall Calverley Cutter. A 16km Trail / Road Hybrid Race taking in the sights of the fantastic Leeds Liverpool Canal, River Aire and Calverley Cutting. Due to you know what the 2021 edition will be run as a GPX race. All registration will be done online prior to the day and Runners will be required to run the race unsupported (no drinks stations, no marshals). We encourage runners to use the GPX file to help them navigate the course and all entries will receive access to a map and route description they can print themselves. The race will open from 23 - 31 May, in that time you may run the course as many times as you wish and submit your best time using our online form before 7pm on the 31st.

This is a GPX only Race. The race course is open for attempts at the course for the period of time advertised. There are no marshals on the course, no aid stations. A GPX file, printable map and route description will be made available on the Great Owl Running Website prior to the event. Runners are responsible for submitting their own times to the race organiser through our online form (also on our website). www.greatowl.org
Runners are encouraged to run with a friend or small group of friends / abide by all COVID-19 Guidelines. The Kirkstall Calverley Cutter will be the first race of the Great Owl Running 2021 Spring Trail Season. Please note that due to the nature of the event runners must wear appropriate clothing as this race starts in the middle of winter. For those who have entered. Your position this race contributes to your overall score in the 2021 GPX Grand Prix - A separate results sheet showing times will be available on Racebest after the event.
