A multi terrain trail race, taking in the best trails, footpaths and hills in Pumas territory!

Want to blow away those Christmas cobwebs and stretch your running legs, then come and give our 8(ish) mile trail race a go! A hilly, muddy, trail running extravaganza. A real feel-good community event, with complimentary warm soup and rolls served afterwards in the club house. We have FROZEN entry prices for 2026 after a great turnout last year. No finishers medals as always, but there is FREE hot drinks and soup available for all runners. A donation from the profits go to our chosen charity, Calder Valley Search and Rescue. As is now the case from recent years, we have again made the decision to implement a cut off time. The cut off will be just after the six mile stage on Coley Road. Any runners that reach this point after two hours will be directed back to the finish, cutting out the field loop and cutting the route short. Any runners not completing the full route will not be eligible for category prizes. It hasn't been an easy decision to maintain this change, but the safety and welfare of our volunteers at what is often a very cold and wet time of year is of upmost importance, because without them the race cannot go ahead at all! Free entry to next year's race for first male and first female winners, plus prizes for age category winners. Can't make it? Transfers are allowed, but no refunds will be given as we're fundraising for our chosen charity. Please email races@northowrampumas.co.uk if you have a place you'd like to transfer. The deadline for transfers will be midnight on Thursday 17th December. No transfers will be made after this date. On-day entry available at a £2 increase on pre-entry prices if there are still places remaining. Minimum age of entry on race-day is 18. The race licence will be provided by the Trail Running Association (TRA) and will be run under UK Athletics (UKA) rules. Race numbers to be collected from Race HQ on the day.
