A multi-terrain race set in the beautiful Crimple Valley area of the famous spa town of Harrogate

The Run Harrogate 10K, sponsored by Harmony Energy, follows an undulating route that is approximately 70% tarmac road, with the rest on good footpaths. The course has been specifically designed to be suitable for all levels of runner: it will appeal to those contemplating their first race, but also to seasoned club runners who are looking for a challenge. NOTE: If not sold out, entries on the day will be allowed, subject to a £2 premium (cash or card payment). All finishers will receive goodies, including a specially designed medal. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd female and open category, plus first male and first female in each 5 year age group category and Female and Open EA Affiliated Club Team prizes (first 3 count for each team). For non EA Clubs and corporate/personal teams, we have the Berwin's Challenge which will donate £300 to a charity of your choice (1st 3 of any gender to count). When all places are sold or if it is less than 28 days to race day, entry fees will not be refundable in any circumstances. While places are still available and it is still more than 28 days until race day, an entrant may apply by email to hello@racebest.com for a refund, which will be subject to a refund processing charge. Unfortunately, due to the terrain, the course is unsuitable for buggies or wheelchairs, and dogs are not permitted. In line with UKA Rules of Competition, the wearing of headphones (including the bone-conduction type) or similar devices is not permitted. A cut-off time of 1 hour 45 minutes will be in place for the race: if you are running slower than this predicted finish time at the halfway point, you may be asked to pull out. Minimum age on race day is 15.
