Solstice Saunter 2021 - Monday 21st June

The 6th summer Solstice Saunter sponsored by JB Springs of Skipton will take place on the evening of the longest day, 21 June 2021. Last year's Solstice Saunter had to be done virtually, but for 2021 we are hopeful that we'll return to a real life saunter at the event's traditional home, the stunning Bolton Abbey estate. Should things not go to plan, then our Plan B will be to go ahead as a virtual event once more. However, we are full of positivity and think that on the day when the UK is scheduled to return to 'normal', this will be a wonderful way to celebrate our freedom together! That said, those who can't join us are still able to sign up and do it virtually should they wish, anytime from dawn to dusk that day. As always the event will support Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, and as this would be their first live mass participation event for 19 months we hope it's one that people will get behind. As usual, all participants will receive a fantastic bespoke medal. In making the event Covid-secure we might have to limit the Solstice Saunter capacity and as a result, only 500 places have initially been made available. It is therefore more important than ever that people sign up quickly to avoid disappointment. Those who sign up to the Bolton Abbey event will be sent a free car parking pass to use on entry. They will be welcome to arrive any time that day before the event and enjoy the estate before their Saunter.
