Rudding ParkRace 2025
A 10.5K Trail Race Amongst the Parkland of Rudding Park, Harrogate
Following the sell-out success of the 2024 event, we are excited to confirm the 10K Rudding ParkRace returns on Tuesday 20 May 2025, considered by many as ‘The best 10K with the best goody bag in the UK!’ This year’s Rudding ParkRace will support our Charity of the Year, Saint Michael’s, the local hospice care charity supporting people affected by terminal illness across the Harrogate district. The course is a single marked loop of around 10.5km with a mixture of paths, woodland trails and includes some technical areas. From the starting line, you will run down to the lakes where you will follow the stone wall into the woodland and be prepared to climb it on the opposite side! From the top, you will then drop down two fields to Crimple Beck, following the trail for a few kilometres until you reach the 5km mark and water station. You will then climb, via the secret golf hole, Love Island, Enchanted Woodland Path and the Italy Boot Shape to Repton Green. Follow the nature path to Dower House where you will be able to see the finish line in front of Rudding House but don't be deceived, still ahead the ‘finish drag’, described every year as a ‘brutal’ challenge! Soak in the applause of the spectators as you cross the finish line, the DJ will be playing on the balcony of Rudding House as you receive your much-talked about goody bag and enjoy a well-earned drink, hog roast & ice cream. Prize-giving will be at approximately 8.15pm with overall male/female, age categories & team winners, as well as the spot prizes. Plus, new for 2025 - team prizes for fastest male & female teams and spot prizes on the night. Due to the nature of the course and start time, there is a cut off at 1 hour 45 minutes to complete the course.
