We have free parking for around 70 cars and there is on-street parking available nearby too.

The race will begin in the school playing fields at 10 am. There will be tea, coffee and hot sandwiches available. Toilet and Changing facilities are located in the school. Registration and collection of your race number will be in the main school hall from 8:30 am. The school is located in a residential area, so whilst there is some event parking, you may prefer to park a short walk away (750m) in the central Mirfield car park offering free parking for up to two hours (postcode WF14 8LW). The minimum age for runners is 15. *COVID-19 update: At this time the Hopton 10k is POSTPONED and will not take place on Sunday 4th October 2020. We are really disappointed that the race can't take place as planned, however, we are determined to make this happen as soon as conditions allow. We are hoping to restage the event in early 2021 and also still holding the official 2021 race in October 2021. Anyone who has entered the race has the following options: 1) Sit back and relax, you've got more time to prepare. :-) Your entry will still give you entry into the next race so you don't need to do anything. Your entry will be valid at the next race we hold; whether that's the rearranged 2020 race or the next 2021 event. 2) Ask for a refund. If you're not sure you'll be able to make the next race, don't worry you are entitled to a refund, but please note that refunds are subject to a £3 processing charge, which will be deducted from your entry fee.
