It originated back in 1975 to celebrate women’s achievements and to support the Women’s Rights Movement, raising issues such as gender equality and reproductive rights. We are delighted to be able to donate 10% of all entry fees to Womankind Worldwide. This is an amazing charity which has been empowering women for over 30 years. WHAT'S INVOLVED? Run, walk or jog any distance, anywhere in the world to on 8th March 2024 to support International Women’s Day. Distances accepted: 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, full marathon, ultra. We also accept treadmill activities. WHAT'S INCLUDED? Receive a beautiful white aluminium finishers medal with a plain colour ribbon. We also accept evidence from treadmill activities. Simply take a screenshot of your activity on your app, on your watch, or take a photo of the display panel on your treadmill. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY CHALLENGE? Upon completing this race, submit your evidence using our secure submission form at https://the-running-bug.com/submit-your-evidence then you will receive a beautiful medal. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION We do accept entries from overseas participants. However, please note that is an extra charge to cover postage costs. In the event that a resident with a non-UK address purchases a standard UK entry, then we reserve the right to refuse the entry and refund in full.
