A scenic, multi-terrain course of approximately 10k, an undulating route mainly on footpaths & through Studley parkland

*EARLY BIRD* Entry, first 400 places will be held at 2025 prices (note the race will be Monday 28 December 2026). Once we have reached 400 entries, prices will be £18.50 affiliated, £20.50 unaffiliated. Entries after 1 December 2026 will have a tree planted and not receive a JHJ T-Shirt. The race follows a scenic, multi-terrain course of approximately 10k. It is an undulating route mainly on footpaths through parkland. Starting on Hell Wath Nature Reserve, continuing up Whitcliffe Lane onto public footpaths through Mackershaw Woods and Studley Deer Park, passing Monty’s bench (in memory of our club co-founder and former club president). The course then heads out of the main gate at Studley, right, up Plumpton Lane, and returns via a short steep climb in Mackershaw Woods, across to Whitcliffe Lane and back towards Hell Wath Nature Reserve. Following a short section through the woods at Hell Wath, the course then emerges onto the field back to the finish. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams or pushchairs. A route map will be displayed at Race HQ on the day. Again this year, we're supporting a local charity that is supporting families throughout Ripon during difficult financial times, If you'd like to help support the food bank, we're suggesting you kindly bring your donation with you when you collect your race number (any small donation will go along way}. There will be a drop off point in Race HQ (Panthers FC, Hell Wath). The food bank has specifically asked for the following items if possible : Tinned products and non perishable food items, cereals, tea & coffee, & toiletries, specifically feminine products, toilet roll, shampoo, deodorants & toothpaste.
