Registration – Registration open from 08:30 to 9:45 Race Safety Briefing – The race briefing takes place in the same building as registration at 09.50 Race start time - 10:15 Course – The route uses a mixture of quiet country roads which are generally flat or gently undulating. The road surfaces are generally okay. Caution should be taken at all turns, paying attention to marshals wherever necessary. The runs will finish directly in front of the racecourse grandstand. Athletes are requested to follow the race director’s instructions and be aware of the dangers of cars and cyclist. See link for map of route: Race Numbers – All numbers & race chips will be issued at race registration Race day information - Will be issued the day after online entries close. If any updates are required to the race information they will appear on the Sport in Action home page www.sportinaction.co.uk Risk Assessment – A full course risk assessment will be on display at the event HQ on race day together with maps of the route, the race permit and the measurement certificate in accordance with UKA rules (Permit No TBA). Withdrawals Policy - Up until December 22nd, 2021 all withdrawals will subject to a 50% charge to cover the costs of processing the entry and refund. After this date no refunds will be given. Prizes – Overall Male & Female 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female. Age Group Male & Female prizes will be awarded as follows 1 to 17 competitors 1st Place only, 18 to 27 competitors 1st & 2nd place, 28 or more competitors 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes will be awarded. Any age grouper that finishes in an overall prize position (1st, 2nd or 3rd Male or Female) will receive the overall prize. Results - www.timingupnorthresults.co.uk will provide live results.
