Denby Dash Junior Races 2025

Will it be the Denby Gallop (6-8 years) or the Pirate Ship Challenge (9-16 years)?

Choice of 2 junior races to accompany the senior Denby Dash (see separate on-line entry). Denby Gallop - for children aged 6 - 8 years (under 6, if accompanied by an adult). A 1 mile scenic loop on tracks and fields with a steep 140ft climb followed by a fast gallop home. Pirate Ship Challenge - for children aged 9 years and over. A 2 mile course over fields and conservation land with a challenging 240ft climb up to the pirate ship before a fast return route home. Race routes are marked and well marshalled. Ice cream kindly provided by Yummy Yorkshire for all finishers. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd girl and boy in each race; also U11, U13 & U17 prizes for the Pirate ship challenge. Live music and refreshment stalls back at The George Inn - fun for all the family on a Bank Holiday Monday! NB. Pre-entries close Sat 23rd August at 8pm - Juniors also welcome to enter on the day.
