The St Aidan’s Winter Beast is a challenging race: it's not flat, and it’s not easy. The course takes in sections off the well-trodden paths and trails, to give you some genuine climbs and (weather permitting) some proper cross country mud. Then there is the infamous 'sluice crossing' to negotiate. That said, if you pause to catch your breath there are some great views of the park to be had from the top of the big hill!

If the race is cancelled for whatever reason, your place will automatically be transferred to a new rescheduled date. While places are still available and it is more than 4 weeks until race day, you may apply in writing for a refund, which will be subject to a refund processing charge of £2. By entering this race, you agree to these terms and conditions.

There will be no permitted race place transfers after Friday 30th January 2026. Anyone found to be running in someone else's name, will be disqualified and their details will be passed to UK Athletics.
