St Aidan's 10K 2023
The perfect start to a summer weekend!
The St Aidan's 10K is the best way to start your weekend. Held on the evening of the first Friday in July, this popular 10K trail race is a perfect introduction to off-road running and an ideal race to test your speed. The race is a fast and flat(ish), trail race along public footpaths and bridleways in and around in the idyllic setting of St Aidan's Country Park in the east of Leeds,. Starting by St Aidan's RSPB Visitor Centre (alongside the largest preserved walking dragline excavator in Western Europe, known as "Oddball") the route crosses and follows the River Aire to Lemonroyd Marina, before circling the Country Park back to the beginning. Stop for a drink, bring along a picnic and get the weekend started in this idyllic setting on a summer's evening! ONLINE ENTRY CLOSES 4PM THU 6TH JULY A minimum donation of £500, or 30% of net profits from this race, shall be donated to the RSPB – whichever sum is greater. When all places are sold or if it is less than 4 weeks to race day, your race entry fee will not be refundable in any circumstances. If the race is cancelled for whatever reason, your place will automatically be transferred to a new rescheduled date. While places are still available and it is more than 4 weeks until race day, you may apply in writing for a refund, which will be subject to a refund processing charge of £2. By entering this race, you agree to these terms and conditions.
There will be no permitted race place transfers after Wednesday 28th June 2023. Anyone found to be running in someone else's name, will be disqualified and their details will be passed to UK Athletics.
