The Riverbank Challenge is one of the region's most popular and well-established races and in 2022 it changes to a more accessible distance without losing its quirk and charm. A 10k on the banks of the Ouse, with a quick blast through the village of Hook thrown in. A flat and picturesque course. Registration opens at 9:00am and closes at 10:45am. Registration entries accepted on the day, until the race limit is full. On the day entries incur a £2:00 surcharge. GVS do not have card facilities. Cash only please. Riverbank Challenge 1 Mile Fun Run. Two flat laps around the circumference of the Rugby fields. Registration opens at 8.30am. Race starts at 10am Children under 15 years of age must have a responsible adult in attendance, although it is not a requirement for the adult to participate. Registration entries accepted on the day, if not sold out online first. On the day Entries are cash only. Only 100 places available.
