The online entry has now closed, but you still can enter on the day, Cash only please, GVS do not have card facilities. A modern-twist on an age-old classic. The Riverbank Challenge is one of the region's most popular and well-established races and in 2022 it changes to a more accessible distance without losing its quirk and charm. A 10k on the banks of the Ouse, with a quick blast through the village of Hook thrown in. A flat and picturesque course. Registration opens at 9:00am and closes at 10:45am. Registration entries accepted on the day, until the race limit is full. On the day entries incur a £2:00 surcharge. GVS do not have card facilities. Cash only please. Riverbank Challenge 1 Mile Fun Run. Two flat laps around the circumference of the Rugby fields. Registration opens at 8.30am. Race starts at 10am Children under 15 years of age must have a responsible adult in attendance, although it is not a requirement for the adult to participate. Registration entries accepted on the day, if not sold out online first. On the day Entries are cash only. Only 100 places available. Prize money for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female and age-group winners. Goody bag to all finishers. Free sausage or Bacon (Vegan option available) butty to race finishers. Fun Run entrants will receive a goody bag and also a commemorative medal. Free Hot dog for all Fun Run entrants. No Refunds, but transfers up to the 22/05/2022 will be accepted.
