The "Fire Fighter Five" is back!
In 2013, the West Yorkshire 5 mile road race was restored to the race calendar after a long absence. It's a race run over the "classic" five miles; what we used to do before running went metric and 10K took over! If you've not done it before it's a guaranteed PB! Promoted jointly by West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and Bradford Airedale AC, the event tackles an undulating circular course which starts and finishes at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters in Birkenshaw.
