A scenic rural race (with flapjack)!

A 5 mile (8km) scenic and undulating course on footpaths through fields, woodland, conservation land and the historic Quaker Village at High Flatts with a total ascent of 650ft. The course is well marked and marshaled and suitable for recreational as well as club runners. Homemade flapjack for all finishers. Prizes for all age categories & spot prizes. Trophy for '1st local' lady and man home. Also junior races at 10.30am for children aged 6 and above (see separate on-line entry). Live music and other post-race attractions for runners & spectators back at The George Inn - fun for all on a Bank Holiday Monday! PRE-ENTRY IS NOW CLOSED but entries on the day are welcome up to the entry limit.
