The Friendliest Sprint Triathlon in North Yorkshire!

Organised by Harrogate Tri Club, taking place in and around the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or eager to experience the thrill for the first time, this race is the perfect way to kickstart your season. For triathlon novices, our super sprint event (420m Swim - 12k Bike - 2.3k Run) offers an achievable first distance. For all triathletes our Sprint event (420m Swim - 24k Bike - 4.6k Run) is a brilliant season opener. Swimmers will start in the pool between 9 am and 12 pm, with start times based on estimated 400m swim times. Faster swimmers will start later, but all participants must be available to begin anytime within this window. Team Relay - Share the Experience: If you're looking for a team-building adventure, our team relay is the perfect option. Each team member tackles one of the three legs: swim, bike, or run. A Highly Rated Event: Our outstanding event, sanctioned by British Triathlon, provides ample free car parking at Rossett Secondary School, just around the corner. Refreshments will be available in the event village. Celebrate Your Success: Commemorate your Harrogate Sprint Triathlon with a finisher's cycling bottle and goodies for all participants. All entrants will receive a comprehensive athlete brief ahead of race day. Support for Everyone: A supportive environment with friendly marshals to guide and cheer you on throughout the race. Prize-Worthy Performances: We'll be awarding prizes for the top three male and female U20s, seniors 20-39 as well as the top male and female vets in the 40+, 50+, and 60+ categories. Course record prizes are also up for grabs, and we'll have spot prizes on the day. Prize Draw: Enter the sprint or team relay before 10am December 06th, 2024, win a free entry for you or a friend. START TIME REQUESTS: We regret that specific start time requests cannot be accommodated. RELAY TEAM ENTRIES: All 3 athletes must be present at the point of registration on Race Day. REFUNDS: Refunds will be processed minus processing and adminstration fees. No refunds are available within 30 days of race day. DEFFERAL: When all places are sold or If there is less than 4 weeks before race day, you may defer your entry to the following year. TRANSFERS: Self managed transfers are available via the racebest entry portal up to 30 days before race day. CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation, Harrogate Triathlon reserves the right to charge a fee to cover administrative costs where a refund is authorised.
