After a 5 year absence, the West Yorkshire 5 mile road race was brought back to life last year and was heralded a great success. A race run over the "classic" five miles...what we used to run before they invented 10Ks!!! If you've not done it before it's a guaranteed PB! Promoted jointly by Bradford Airedale AC and West Yorkshire Fire Service, the event saw over 100 competitors tackle the undulating circular course which starts and finishes at West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters in Birkenshaw.
