Real competition in a Virtual League

With competition on hold for the foreseeable future, and no chance of lining up on a start line with your fellow competitors, we’re giving you a chance to compete nonetheless, albeit at a safe distance from other people. With the 2021 EvenSplits Lockdown League you and your club can compete virtually across a range of distances and challenges to be crowned League Champions! The Lockdown League challenges will run from 1st February to 31st March. There will be 8 challenges (e.g. Mad Mile, 5K, 30 minutes), but to qualify for individual prizes you’ll need to take part in at least 5 of the 8 challenges. And for your club to qualify for prizes, you’ll need to make sure at least 5 of you enter. THE RULES 1. You must respect the current COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions in place when you run: i.e. run local, do not travel to find a route; only run with your household or one other person. 2. Each Monday (starting 1st February) you will be set the latest challenge. 3. You must complete the challenge and submit your result within 14 days of it being set. 4. Points will be awarded based upon your position (1 for first, 2 for second, and so on); lowest number of points at the end of the season wins. 5. The first points table will be published after Week 4 at http://www.evensplits.events/lockdownleague, and will show the results for Challenges 1 and 2. 6. Results for each challenge will be published 15 days after the challenge is set. 7. Once you submit a result for a challenge, you cannot submit a new result.
