Leeds' most popular 10 mile road race now also comes with a 5 mile option!

The Hollybank Eccup 10 & 5 Mile Races are back this year in collaboration with with our charitable partner, The Hollybank Trust. The 10 mile race takes place on closed roads following a scenic route through the country lanes around Eccup reservoir making this Leeds most popular 10 mile road race. The 5 mile race follows a shortened version of the 10 mile route. Abbey Runners will be making a donation to both Hollybank Trust and the club's nominated 2026 charity, The Hygiene Bank, from the race proceeds and you can also support either or both by making an additional donation with your entry. When you enter, you can also choose whether to purchase a high quality technical T-shirt as a memento for an additional £8. Last year we raised over £5000 for our charities. We have a generous prize policy, with prizes in the 10 mile race for both men and women for the first 3 overall, V35 and V40. The first two V45,V50 and V55, and the first V60, V65, V70 and V75 etc. We also have a team prize (first 3 club members) for both male and female teams. Prizes are also on offer for open and age category winners in the 5 mile race. In the 10 mile race, there is also £100 on offer for breaking either the men's or ladies course records: The men’s record is held by Yared Hagos, 51.18, (Bradford Airedale), set in 2011 The women’s record is held by Tracey Morris, 56.26, (Valley Striders), set in 2007 Joining instructions for the event will be sent out via e-mail, numbers are collected from race HQ at registration, please allow time for this.
