Part of the revived three race John Carr memorial series held on the first 3 wednesdays in May, organised by Saltaire Striders Race 1 info - https://racebest.com/races/y8rga Race 2 info - https://racebest.com/races/hh4yu 'Beat The Clock' - At 19:15 the race clock will start counting down (to zero) from 45 minutes You decide when you want to start, based on how long you think it will take you to run the course, but you must get back before the clock reaches zero! The winner will be the last person to set off, provided they gets back in time. The race should end with a stampede to the finish in Roberts Park as the clock mercilessly ticks down to 0:00. Those who leave it too long and fail to 'beat the clock' will be eliminated from the results! Don't worry if this happens to you: you'll still get your race time. Anyone could win!
